Windows Updates -- Today, June 22, 2017Please leave all RHS computers and laptops on throughout today (Thursday, June 22) and overnight so that, around 10 p.m., they can process Microsoft Windows updates. Help out by turning on unattended computers in your area or computers in training or conference rooms. Updates increase system stability and address security vulnerabilities. Failure to leave computers on overnight may result in start-up delays or unexpected reboots. You can also run Windows updates manually. Click Start > All Programs > Windows Update > Check for updates, then follow the prompts. Thank you for your partnership in keeping RHS computers running securely and efficiently. RHS Not Migrating to Office 365MSU's Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF) division recently announced its migration to Office 365. Some RHS team members received these email notifications. However, the IPF transition does not affect RHS team members, RHS email services or ongoing technical support plans. RHS is unaffected by the IPF migration to Office 365, and no action is required. RHS will eventually undertake this same migration, but no timetable has been determined. All MSU students, including those working throughout RHS, are making - or have made - the transition to Office 365 for their coursework. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Opera Upgrade -- Issue Reporting ProcedureFor SHG users of Opera: Report printing and previewing are now working. Please report any additional issues within Opera by submitting a service request at is.rhs.msu.edu/srsystem. Do not send emails to report issues. Report all Opera issues by Friday, June 16, so Oracle can resolve them before the project support window ends. For more detailed information, please contact your supervisor.
